Default should this put me in the 12s

its a 98 ta a4 just bought shift kit,3.73 gears,lid,borla,hooker headers,hooker y pipe, cutout, ls6 intake, ported tb,skinnies up front and mt radials out back i really wanna get in the 12s hope im on the right path i plan on getting a stall within the next 2 months let me know what yall think

oh yeah, most def. i got in the 12's with just LT's, Lid, and exhaust, on street tires

Oh ya should be 12's everytime.. I ran 12.9 with just Open headers and a Lid haha

If you can't run well into the 12s with that setup, you need to sell the car.

Seriously though, you should be hitting mid-12s even without the stall. Add the stall and on those slicks and skinnies you'll be flying.

We should find out where he is and the DA before we tell him how fast he'll be Around here those parts will get him to a 13.5, and in some places that's what it takes to get 13s at all

Well just for reference I ran a 13.67 bone stock 99T/A A4 on crap cooper tires bouncing off the limiter on 2-3 shift due in 90 degree FL humidity…..

Well since he didn't make any mention of extenuating circumstances, I gave an estimate assuming he's running at a fairly "normal" drag strip. Typically if someone is racing at Mile High, they will say something along the lines of, "And BTW, I'm running it at 5,000+ feet".

But yeah, probably should have asked just to be sure.

And BTW, if you're racing somewhere that requires those mods just to run a 13, I'd say it's time to move.

Really!! My car stock ran a 13.4. Now I dont know what it runs. I havent gone to the track for like the past yr. But mid 13's OMG! You must be reffering to an LT1 car?

went to the track this weekend and all i had on my car was the lid, shiftkit, ls6 intake, and drag radials and all they were running was 1/8th i got a 8.7 with a 2.0 60 , my full exhaust and gears are gonna be on the car next weeked and then get my dyno tune what yall think imma do in the 1/4 with 3.73 gears and the the rest of the mods i listed above

id say 12s easy, if i couldnt hit 12s with that i would def have to move or go else where to race lol
