Default if i could only launch... 12.92@ 115mph

Made it out to the track for the First time since i bought the car about three months ago. I was happy to get a 12 on my first time to the track but i know there is much more in it, i ran a 13.0 on the first pass, 13.5 on the second when i missed third, 13.2 on the third bogging really bad off the line and on the fourth pass i ran the 12.92 @115mph. My 60ft times were terrible on every pass, quickest i had was 2.39, . The 275 street tires just wouldnt grab. I have a set of prostars with ET streets that ill put on next weekend, should be interesting to see how much they help. I left them off this time just to see what i could run in full street trim and a half tank of regular 93 octane.

Car is a 98 z28 with stage 2.5 5.3 heads milled, mild cam, long tube headers and ls6 intake.

Anyone care to guess what time i would run with a 1.8-1.9 sixty??

With a 1.9 i think you'll be right around 12.0. With a 1.8 or better you're in the 11's

Yeah, if you're trapping 115, street tires are gonna be pretty much useless. Throw on the drag radials and start practicing and you should be able to hit an 11, but low 12s without issue. You'll see big improvement as you practice.

Im saying 12.0-12.1 based on 60' and mph. With the "*** in seat" mod you'll be able to pull 1.7 60's and get 11's.

You really do need to work on those 60' times but that will come with practice. At least you know that is something that can be fixed. The mph is a little low for a h/c setup but there are so many other variables that would affect that. Weather conditions, track elevation, shift points, etc. Good luck though, I'm sure your times will improve drastically with better tires and more time behind the wheel.
