Going to try and hit 12's with 2.73s and street tires
i have a 2000 z28 that has a lid and weld in flowmaster muffler, i have longtube headers, ls6 intake, and a 3800 stall, but before i put that all on i want to try and run a 12 second pass. I know its far fetched but me and this mach 1 run all the time. He is an awesome driver and he runs consistant 13.0s, and every time we race i am at his door the whole time. I think i might actually have a chance at this. ANy thoughts?

I ran a 12.7 @ 109 on stock street tires, 2.73 gears, Pacesetter headers, SLP lid.
After adding the 3.73 gears I only gained .1 and 2mph...but I did add 17x9 and 17x11 rims that were much heavier than the stock 16s.
