I'm getting ready to drop a LS2 w/ported L92 heads and LS3 intake into my Camaro....who makes a quality mass airflow sensor larger than 85mm to fit a LS1 F-body like mine? Also, does somebody make an airlid with a larger outlet opening to accomodate a bigger than stock MAF sensor?

First, why do you think you will need bigger than a 85mm on a NA 6.0L?

A couple of companies offer a 100mm MAF that should work for you, do a quick search and you should find then.

I just figured that since I'll be running a 90mm TB then I should have a MAF sensor that's at least the same size or larger, no?

I understand, it does make the tuning more difficult with the 100mm because they are not native to the PCM in you car.
Power wise, the 85mm won't hold you back.

I agree it wouldn't be a big restriction, but Texas Speed and others have posted gains goin to speed density or 100mm maf from stock 85mm on ls2/3 NA setups

It all depends on the total package. Cam, CAI, exhaust, etc.

A lot of gains come because more time is spent and precision tuning is done when you do a swap like this than a stock part. When huge gains happen in SD people feel it and see it because the VE tables at tuned way better at all MAP and RPM zones than stock or a hybrid tune.

85mm maf=90 mm maf, it measures 90mms... i hear bad problems with scaling with a 100mm maf, stick with your 85mm...

also fast toys makes a lid for the 85mm mafs, and 100mm mafs, they are a sponsor check them out
