Default LS1/LS6 Interference or NON interference?

I thought this would be an easily googled/forum searched question...but I can't find a solid answer.

so are LS1/LS6 Motors Interference (as in timing chain breaks and valves get bent) or non interference (as in timing chain breaks and its no biggie)????!???

They're interference fit. If your timing chain breaks, you'd better pray that only the push rods bend.

Not a problem. Our timing chains don't break.

I went overkill with a Rollmaster double. If it breaks, the whole engine is doomed anyway.

ATI Harmonic Balancer also helps - most of the time timing chains break due to bad harmonics.

And yes, interference.

why are you asking?

You have some "timing belt is maintenance" idea? If so you are wrong.
