Baseline Dyno #'s for a bone stock 2002 Z28? Going in to get a baseline dyno pull next week so I can see where I'm starting from before any mods. The car is a 2002 Z28 M6 with stock everything, even wheels & tires. Car has about 67,500 miles on the clock. I was just curious to see what numbers people think I'll be able to put down. I'm hoping for at least 285 at the wheels. Is that realistic?

I hope I do. I don't remember what kind of dyno the shop I'm going to has. I hope I'm at the top end of the spectrum, but I'm just as happy with average. No matter how much HP I put down, and how much I add in the future, I think the car will always be just a little slower than I like

I'd love to get some footage of it on the Dyno all stock, dirty, with its scrapes and scratches. Get evidence of it actually being in such a state before I fix all that . Oh don't worry it'll be an amazing cookie for you IF you're right. Otherwise I'll sit there and eat it in front of you... Well I'll probably bring two I can't be that harsh.
And of course people really want cookies. Who doesn't?

Chris, by the way, I love how this has me almost as excited if not more than the metal show we're going to that same day. Dyno tuning and Black Dahlia Murder in the same day for the win!

See, if you lay down decent numbers showing you're engine is plenty strong you'll be stoked and will bust out in the mosh pit due to excitement!
Or, if something is wrong (which it isn't) you'll be pissed and you'll feel ten times better after the show
Haha but in all seriousness, it's good to get a baseline and see how the A/F ratio is since it's all bone stock. It's always good to see how the car runs before you start modding it.

Yeah no matter what I'll be feeling good after the show. I'm so excited I'm finally getting in and doing this. Kinda glad I waited though, because now I have a much better feel for how the car drives stock. That way I can better feel what mods do. Can't wait to see my numbers!

Ok so the results are in!!!
305-307 HP and 328 TQ
I think that's pretty respectable. Just put my lid on after I got home so now these numbers aren't totally accurate anymore

I am assuming jet or ect, remember everytime it is strapped down to any dyno U can + or - atleast 10 whp....

It was on a dynojet. Yeah I know it's not entirely accurate, but we did a few runs and torque was always within 328.6 to 328.8 and the hp was always within 5 (except for the first run when I burnt off a ton of carbon and the engine retarded timing).
