Misfire 7 P0307! HELP

Misfire 7 P0307! HELP My 2001 SS has around 110K miles.
Symptoms: While coming to a dead stop the motor feels like it wants to turn off.
When I'm driving, the motor sounds like it struggles and you can hear the exhaust making a pop sound when shifting. There's also a strong smell of gas out the exhaust pipes. I'm no professional and this is my daily driver so I need help. Any suggestions or advice. Thanx

between the pcv valve and intake manifold... but every point along the pcm system, since the pcv check valve goes out sometimes and you can see vac leaks past the pcv valve...
check the vacuum port for the hvac system behind the intake manifold, the map sensor location, as well as the hose for the brake booster...
also check the vacuum port for the evap system...that is on the opposite side as the pcv vacuum port...id also look between the maf and throttle body, since unmetered air entering here can throw off fueling as well.
another quick way to check for potential leaks is with a can of brake cleaner... with the engine idling, spray all around the intake manifold...if at any point the engine bogs down, you have found the approximate area of the leak...
of course i think the best way to actually find it, would be to loosen all the rockers all the way out, and with everything hooked up as normal hook up a vacuum tester and pump it up to about 16 in.-Hg and see if the value will start to drop towards 0.
if it does...remove connections and block them one by one as you test in between... this should help isolate the locations of the leak...if in fact it is a vac leak that is your issue.

If the ses light is flickering I believe it mean a missfire in one or more cylinder. Do still stay in south gate? I have a scanner you can use to put the code from the computer.

i didnt notice the blinking ses light post... if its a generic code reader its just gonna tell you p0300... make sure one of your spark plug wires didnt pop off...if it looks good id pull em all out and check resistance of em... id also pull the spark plugs and inspect..

Just got a scanner from Autozone and it found the code P0307 which is cylinder 7 misfire. I will have to check my plugs and wire and make sure my #7 injector is not clogged. If is then I have to buy new ones. Thanx Jason for your assistance.

Update: I Put on all new spark plugs, a new air filter, and a new fuel filter. My car is running awesome and it hasn't felt like this for quite some time. I hope it stays that way! Thanks everyone for the advice..

I have never seen a vacuum leak cause a car to run rich. Unmetered air usally causes a lean condition which could cause a cylinder missfire depending on the location and size of the leak.

I guess I spoke to soon: I got the code P0155 (02 Heater Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 1). Anybody have an idea on how to fix this? My car is struggling and it's my DD. Thanx
