i am going to be installing a ls6 intake,LS6 valley cover and crossover pipe. i ordered 4 of the steel gaskets w/ orings for the rear plugs and pipe but i noticed that the new ls6 pipe has o-rings already on the bottom of the the plug. do i need to use a steel gasket with the already supplied oring on the pipe or do i just use the oring that came on the pipe. i know i will have to use 2 of the steel gaskets with the rear plugs.

The new LS6 crossover tube you have already has o-rings and is ready to install as is; do not use the old style plate gaskets with the new tube.

You could install a crossover tube at the rear, and plumb both tubes to a T or Y fitting, and then on to radiator neck.

What He said, On my set I didnt have to use a single gasket, my tube and block offs all have o-rings on them.

I just did this too and on my old one it had the plates w/ gaskets and o-rings on the tubes them selves so I went back the same way, I have no leaks? Also I used two front tubes and tied them together in the front with a brass T, I was concerned about reading about the #7 cylinder issue so I went this way.

which way did you place the rear crossover pipe,outlet facing forward or torwards the firewall?

This is exactly what I did, as well. Not that I'm constantly ripping on my car, but I didn't want to take the chance of starving any of the cylinders of coolant.

My setup looks nearly identicle to the picture in 99'CajunFirehawk157's post. Turned out really well.

EDIT: To answer your question in the post above: I placed the rear line with the exit facing the firewall and plumbed some fuel line where the stock PCV system used to run, (I also upgraded to the LS6 Valley Cover) between the passenger side head and the intake.

What I Did was I got 6 ft of 1/4 fuel line, since you cant find 1/4 heater hose OR I couldn't anyway, then hooked it up using a worm gear clamp, then bolted it down facing towards the firewall. I then left the 6 ft of hose loose out of my way until after all else was done then I routed it on the drivers side fuel rail area to the front of the car. YMMV
