Default LT1 oil filter M1-111, M1-202, M1-302 ???

Just wondering if anyone knows about the Mobil M1-111 (will it fit the 96 LT1), M1-202 (may have been discontinued) this is what I currently have on the car now, but I'm wondering if the M1-302 is the same physical dimensions and can it be used as an exact replacement for the M1-202?

Thanks

Is the one number a truck filter or something? I know I'm about to start running whatever truck filters are compatible, because they just cut the size of all LT1 filters in half about six months ago(every manufacture to my knowledge, that I have seen), I have no idea why but I'm not happy about it!

You can also look for the filter for an 87 silverado will give you the right part #s.

For mobil 1, it's M1-302. For K&N it's a similar number, also has a 302 somewhere in there.

I can only use a certain length of filter because my FLP longtubes get in the way of most filters. I went to O'reilly's today and found the WIX filter will work and the K&N 2002. I decided to get a K&N because it has a socket fitting on the bottom for removing the filter easily (tight tolerances to get your hand in where the longtubes are). I measured the K&N, it is 4.25" vs. Mobil 1 M1-202 (@ 4.10). So, this should work as a great replacement for the Mobil 1

Sometimes you get good combo deals on oil + a m1 or k&n filter. But only one or the other.
