Can someone please show me in pics or describe where the low side valve for an AC recharge is on an ls1 motor ASAP please? Thanks a ton. I see a valve on the evaporator and one near the radiator. I don't know which one is low side or if it is neither.

Low side is the valve by the evaparator.............. High side is the one on the radiator.

Or the big line/ cold line is the low side... Smaller line is the liquid line/high side

I used the one on the accumulator. Seemed to work, we'll see how long it lasts, hopefully a long time.

if you used the off the self can and it fit, then that was it. What kind of psi did you see. You didnt use any of that crap with oil or leak seal did you?

Best to use a scale and weigh the amount of refrigerant in according to factory specs.

It's on the AC accumulator. If your recharge hose fits it than it'll be fine. There designed only to recharge the specific charge point.

You cannot accurately charge a A/C system only by monitoring low side pressure. It is best to charge with the proper weight of freon, but you can get pretty damn close if you monitor the low and high sides pressures.

Also just because your A/C isnt working good now, it doesnt necessarily mean it needs to be recharged. By monitoring high and low side pressures you can diagnoise many other possible problems as well.

The smaller port is the low side(suction side) and the larger port is the high side(pressure side).

Not trying to sound like an ***, just trying to inform.

Careful with the do it yourself refill kits. The proper way to do it is with a manifold gauge to check the high and low side. You dont want to overfill the system...
