I'm gonna try and track one down and try it out. But before I do I wanted to hear from anyone who's tried one out. ....

If its any more expensive than a Delco filter I see no reason to bother. Sorry if thats no help, but its the truth.

Royal Purple Filters are superior in ppm contamination and flow rate. A must have for anyone who needs to beef up their drive-train for an application like lets say... Armoring your Trans Am for war near the boarder.

I don't run an oil filter, i simply throw a hanes 100% cotton sock in a latex surgical glove and ziptie it to the oil filter adapter.

guys let me serious here, its very good oil filter, I try it and I like it. Last time I drove 8 hours to my friends house, and stop by pepboy ( only pepboy carry it atm ). It had synthetic media. If we have pepboy around here I would buy it again or K&N oil filter.

It is the best off the shelf filter you can buy. However, unless you are changing your oil at 10K+ intervals there is no need to run it. It was designed primarily to last as long as the oil would. A M1 or K&N will still be a high flow filter for a few bucks less
