If being FIRED how many days by law do you have to get them there check??

Default If being FIRED how many days by law do you have to get them there check??

Just like it says.

I'm trying to find out if I fire someone how long do I have to get them there final check by law. I've found some stuff on google but its all out of date info.

If I remeber correctly Texas Workforce Commission says 6 days if you fired and your next normal payday if you quit.

After a quick search:

Your former employer is required to pay you your final paycheck within six (6) days from the date of your termination. This is required under the Texas Payday Act which is administered by the Texas Workforce Commission.

Yea, I am going to drive out there and check it out, as I haven't been to a car meet in what seems like years now!
Bring the SS out, Jason said it's very fast.
I drove mine once since getting it back and anything below 65mph and the tires go up in smoke, but it sure is fun to ice skate around in, lol.

That's how I feel. I think I'm going to splurge and go to a meet tonight after going to my parents and hanging their Christmas lights, prolly going to Cars and Coffee Saturday and the meet on Sunday.

I'm kind of excited. I guess I'll need to actually wash the TA.
