Default Red GTP vs Silver GXP

Lost to a red sixth gen GTP today. Not much room to play on the highway but he was pulling towards the end of second. Cool guy though, said he's cammed, pulley (forgot what size he said) and a few other mods. His car dynod 275whp.

Not so hurt about it after he mentioned his mod list. Catback is coming Monday and I have to get in on that header GB.

We should have exchanged numbers, always like talking with a fellow enthusiast. Said you're on the forums so if you read this PM me.

"cams?"

Sounds like he didn't know wtf he was talking about. I could see if it were an early or mid 90's GTP with the 3.4 Twin Dual-Cam motor, but they weren't supercharged, so he wouldn't have a "pulley."

Oops, typo on my part. I meant "cammed" It was a 4 door sixth Gen.

He new his stuff pretty well. Asked about the 243 heads on my car so I'd assume he's pretty car savvy.

I wasn't paying too much attention to the speedo but I'd guess around 65mph. That's kindof a dead spot, I'd really like to get at least one more run in.

There's no traction at that speed with the salty roads.

If you were closer we would be a good race.

Get rid of the n2o and get an intercooler. It's made tuning mine so much easier

Seems like mod for mod the LS4s are walking away from the 3800 cars. I'm happy with the LS4 for sure.

it does not surprise me that the ls4 reacts better to mods than a l67. you guys have some of the best cylinder heads that gm has ever made, not to mention you have 1.5 liters more than the 3800 guys do

We should run again. I'm tuned with a catback and I want to see the difference.
