I'm just thinking about getting PACESETTER 98-02 Camaro LS1 Long Tube headers for my car 2001 camaro with ls1 engine. Any suggestion or any better brand than this with reasonable price.

probably not. theyre very popular.

id go with KOOKS or ARH but theyre much more expensive.

Been running pacesetters for the last 3 years and no problems at all. Very happy with them.

Since you are in the market for some longtubes, i highly suggest that you look into TSP 1 7/8 headers for almost the same price as pacesetters

Aren't the TSP headers about 500 bucks? Pacesetters are much cheaper than that.

Pacesetters are affordable, and do the trick. I would say go with them.

pacesetters here. They are a very good header. Only difference is material. If you want something that will last forever then its cash you need to spend bottom line.

Pacesetters fit well and are affordable. Only better choice would be a Kooks or something stainless but Pacesetters are an excellent product!

Loved my cheap *** Pacesetters. Slid right in on install, no issue. Only other header I would swap to is the TSP 1 7/8" headers, simply because of the power gains and the fact that I would never pay 7 or 800 dollars for a better name brand (KOOKS/ARH).

If your doing internals as well the 1 7/8 TSP headers would be alittle better.

No doubt pacesetters are very popular choice. I have no regrets on mine.

I just checked out how my ceramic pacesetters looked underneath, and there is just a slight bit of rust on the collector. Nothing to even be bothered or annoyed by.

I am not sure on the TSP 1 7/8 headers. But if i were in the market for headers i would definitely look into these. No doubt im happy with my pacesetters. But in case i decide to ever go bigger cubes those 1 7/8 will be worth it.

I wouldn't mind going with PaceSetters again myself, I had them on my old V6 but I live in the city so rough winters, heard I need to go with stainless steel cuz my pacesetters actually started to get rusted. So if your in a all year round nice weather place coated is fine, rough winter areas stainless. Still deciding, planning on headers for next spring.

Pacesetters are a solid choice even though it seems you have already made your purchase. Some have had success with the ebay stainless as well.
