I'm with you on that thought. The dyno is a tool, the track is the test.

Besides, we don't race dyno graphs.

Im thinking about coming down this year in my lt1-powered '94 z71.
Will there be any bracket, or test n tune time for this race?
I'm kinda curious how big of a turd this brick is gonna be.

Damn. I don't think the car will be ready by then. Hopefully it'll be running and lined out for 2012. After all, the world is supposed to end in 2012 and I'd hate to not make it to an LTx Shootout before Armageddon!

Is it a requirement that I preregister for this event or can I do it at the track? I will not know if I am coming untill right before the event as it all depends on if I goto the Div 3 bracket finals again this year.

Pre-registration will be open until about a week before the race. You can also register and pay on the day of the race too.

Same here. We haven't had it as bad as you guys, but I think we had a stretch of 18 days in a row of 90 + degrees which is not the norm up here.
