Default Testing for Exxonmobil jobs....

Got this email at work the other day. If you are interested in working for Exxonmobil, here you go. This testing is not just for operators. This is for all crafts...Operators (process Technicians) Machinsts, Riggers, Instrumentation, Electricians, Lab Techs...I'm not sure what else.


Pre-Employment Test Date Announcement(Please share this information with interested individuals)

ExxonMobil Global Recruiting is announcing plans to conduct Operations Pre-employment Testing for the Baytown Area Facilities on August 5-6, 2011.

ALL interested individuals MUST log on to our Internet Website www.exxonmobil-employment.com to express interest in ExxonMobil operations/wage positions and to schedule pre-employment testing.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have tested in the past, there is a 2-year waiting period before interested individuals are eligible to re-test.

Test sessions will be available for booking beginning July 11, 2011. Seating for these test sessions will be limited and will be filled on a first-come....first-served basis.

To Register On-line:
Visit www.exxonmobil-employment.com and carefully review the Welcome page information.

Click on "Log-in" and follow the three steps listed under the "New User" section.

Follow the instruction listed under "Next Steps," click on "Test Location Preference" and select Plant/Refinery - Baytown, TX as your Test Location Preference.

Click on "Job Interest" and follow the instructions for adding your job interest selection(s). Individuals who are qualified for multiple positions or want to be considered for all Baytown sites must repeat the job interest selection process to indicate preference in multiple locations and job types. Click on Candidate Profile and complete you candidate profile.

To Book a Testing Slot: Test sessions will be available for booking on July 11th Enter your User ID and Password
Complete the Next Steps instructions until your have booked a test slot

Once you have successfully booked a test slot you will receive a confirmation screen. Please remember to print your confirmation documents for your records and bring with you to the test session.


NOTE:

DON'T WAIT UNTIL JULY 10TH OR 11TH TO VISIT THE WEBSITE. IF YOU DO, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO GET A SLOT. REGISTER AND ALL THAT NOW. THEN, ON JULY 11TH, LOGIN EARLY, LIKE 7 OR 8AM AND TRY TO GET A SLOT. THERE WILL BE ALOT OF PEOPLE COMPETING FOR THE SAME SLOTS....

I took and passed mine 3 yrs ago but nothing. I'm probably out of the system now. I am currently a contractor at exxon bop. Been here about 3.5 yrs

You won't get a confirmation screen until you actually book a slot. You can't book the slot until July 11th. Right now you just want to register yourself into the system.

I tested about 4 years ago, actually got interviewed but I didnt want to take the pay cut even though their long term benefits/stock options are badass.

I worked in the Exxon Baytown plant for about 5 years doing maintenance and turnarounds. Kinda miss the place since I knew it so well.

I work at LECC in the Refinery. We have met a few times. Me and my buddy came and visited you a few times over in the chem plant a few years back...before he got fired.

Hey do you know if its like a civil service exam I have a cuz that works for XOM in New Orleans and he said that they changed the test down there but he wasn't sure if it was company wide and I was just looking for something to study THANKS!!!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be testing if I don't get the BP internship. I'm completely finished with my Ptec degree when I complete this last class (troubleshooting) in 5 weeks. Ready to get to work!

Good luck! BP is one difficult internship to get into. If you don't know someone there find someone and make friends. It will help you greatly.

Looks like there are no more slots for the Exxon testing though.

I have a couple buddies at BP. I was hoping that would help me out! Lol it always seems to help if u know someone in the right place. That sucks that Exxon is full already. I'll have to start watching the test postings regularly so u can get myself in right away.
