Open the rear hatch with your key and pull the door release cord on the drivers side of the hatch area.

Mine went dead after one week when it was new. I've since used a battery tender if I don't drive it for more than 3 or 4 days.

CTEK 800 works best for me. I have a CTEK 3300 but don't like it as well. Have to set what voltage you want. My 3300 doesn't always want to set the first time. Have to run though the settings a couple times to get it to work. With the 800 just plug it in and works every time.

Cool, thanks for responding. I just checked it out on Amazon and it has excellent reviews. This may be what I purchase.

Thanks again!

If you have a manual and an LS2 C6, park the car with the reverse gear engaged otherwise your batter WILL die. I believe on LS3 M6s they may have fixed this problem. However it's still best practice to park in reverse anyway.

Parking in reverse helps save your car if the hand brake fails. Also, parking in reverse (for C6s specifically) turns off certain sensors that would normally drain the battery.

Only the 05s had the you need to be in reverse, I'm not sure if the re-flash TSB changed the reverse or not.

If your battery dies in a few day's & you have a good battery the car is busted, you don't need a tender.
