Thank you for your response. I'm really not looking to sell but like i said it was in the driveway and some guy i have never met pulls up and ask if i wanted to go to the bank and it got me thinking lol. I would really like to get it to the track at least once.

If you were seriously entertaining selling the car, and someone was really serious about giving you $15,000, you made the wrong decision in turning it down. It won't happen again unless you get very lucky.

I would have taken 15k.... they just dont sell in this market for that price unless theyre very low mileage (<20k) and 100% stock... or have some crazy 800+hp track car...

Thanks for all the input guys, like i said it never crossed my mind to sell it. I bought the car bone stock in excellent condition around OCT in south TENN for $10K. In the last 2 months i have put $5700 in the suspension. And another $4530 i +/- $50 in engine mods, installs and tunes plus wheels and tires $800 and haven't had the time to drive and enjoy it yet. If it wouldn't have been such a quick offer and i had more time to think i may have taking it or maybe less lol. But like i said i just got the car back this week after getting worked. Thanks again for the input.

Also what would be a good price to put on the listing if I do decide to sell and finish one of projects? I know just because I have put 10k+ in it over the last two months that I will mark most of that up as a loss but what would be a good starting price? Thanks

get the price you paid for the parts minus labor and divide that by half. get the true value of the car from kbb.com for your year and mileage and ad the total value of the parts together. for 2000 and 100k ide pay about 7500 for the car and be willing to pay for half of the value of parts. i say half the value because if you were to part out the car and sell the parts individually here on the classified section you would only get about half or less of what the part would be new, regardless of miles.
