hello there..

Alright, now my friend owns a 2008 Mustang GT with manual transmission (intake and exhaust)
I own a 98 Camaro Z28 LS1 with Automatic transmission (100% Stock)
i just wanted to ask who would pull or win .. me or him ?
coz he has been talking down on Camaros since he got that Donkey

put in mind that my Camaro has the 2:7 ratio or what ever it is.

Off the line should be about even, look up the 0-60 times... 5.1 each, but you have an auto and he has a 5spd. Most likely, you would beat him as most folks just can't drive a manual properly. A stock Z has slightly better 1/4 mi. time than an 08 GT as well. Don't want to risk it? Just slap a lid and lm1 on it and you'll trample that little pony.

I think the 2008 GT is rated at 300 HP but he may weigh slightly less, which would give him an advantage.

When I was stock I beat my buddies 08' gt from a roll and a dig everytime we raced. I'm also a a4,so don't be scared!

well, i got mine tuned and removed the catalytics converters
and he refused to race..
but i raced my friends camaroz, both fully tuned and exhaust system.
i stick at their rear bumpers
going to install borla soon

I know a guy with an 08 gt, he refuses to race me, even though he stated his 08 gt beat a 07 gt500 by half a car, his car is stock as stock can be...

I know this is an old thread. But I'm in the same situation. Guy at work has a 2007 GT and I keep trying to get him to race my 2000 Z28. I'm basically stock other than lid, dynomax catback, and free mods (FRA & no rear seats). I'm A4 with 3:23 gears.

The GT has CAI & catback & 5speed. Think I'll walk him?

I'll probably never find out tho becase he keeps avoiding the race.

If it doesn't go well I have headers ORY and a cam waiting to get installed. hehe

well, this is an old thread of mine BUT
i didn't race that guy i raced a 5.0 2011 mustang and i won

so basically I've concluded i can walk over the other mustang lol
