T56 down shift problem. Help plz!

T56 down shift problem. Help plz! I bought a 01 camaro with a t56 in it and it would not go into second gear. I ordered a gear box stage two rebuild kit and second and third gear. Rebuild the trans and put all new syncors in with a coulpe new gears bronze shift fork pads new bearings threw out and it up shifts fine but dosnt feel like it fully inguages in second on down shift. I dont really have this problem up shifting. It dosnt feel like it goes as far in second gear as it dones the rest. It is driving me crazy tho. Any idea??
