Default Cadillac CTS-V Section 1/4 Mile Time List

* Note if you find drag racing to be beneath you, wish to tell others to go buy a f body instead or think its not for the cts-v.... do us all a favor and find another thread to read.

I was going to do this on the other forum, but there seems to be more V1 performance guys here and a good number of V2 guys as well. due to our small numbers this might take some time to populate but if it doesnt rain today im heading to e-town to at least add to this myself.

Using a similar format to what the Camaro/G8 section is using:

Rules:
In proposing submissions for inclusion on the list, please follow these simple rules:

#1. Post the details of your quarter-mile pass using this template:
10.753 @ 127.85 MPH 60' 1.548 ( LitiGATOR) V2 Lsa upper/lower pulley, tune, cai, cam, cat-back, drag radials
it makes it easier for me to update the list and it also makes sure the listing has the mods and what not you want listed.

#2. Times require posting of an image of the time slip. Make sure you post the entire image. If you lack the ability to post an image, ask for help.

#3. Track times will not be corrected for weather or track altitude.

#4. All V owners are invited to submit his/her times on this thread.

#5. In the event two members submit a 1320’ ET identical to the hundredth of a second, the tiebreaker is the higher 1320’ mph.

#6. List will be maintained for currently active racers with slips from the current year. This isn't for sold, traded, blown up, etc...

If you have a time you want me to add pm me the time in the format below and i can add it quicker then if i have to pull it myself.

The pass I posted above was in March, so I don't think the weather was TOO bad. But I did run a 12.2 three weeks ago and the weather was, as you so nicely put it, much like a taint.

I plan on going back to the track on the 8th. If this cold front we are having holds out until then combined with my new light weight FW I feel very confident about seeing an 11.xx.

Here is a link to the correction table I use for my 1/4 mile times. Only other info you need is what time of day your pass was and you can get the corrected times. That table can pull weather data from a long way back.

I will say it feels as if my car has less power since the tune, but my crappy 60' isnt helping anything. also i only got one pass in due to me not having a proper helmet. i need more practice.

any tips on getting a better 60'

Default suggestion

Since our V's "aren't meant for drag" we might benefit from listing what rear setup is used i.e. kars, gforce full/single axle(s),h.e.. etc

I've gotta make a 1/4 mile run....There's a 1/8 mile track about 10 miles from home that I've ran a couple times. Gonna dig up my slips from there.
