Default 2004 GTO Turbo Build

Hey guys..were new here, we just did a build for 2004 GTO, thought you guys might like to see a few pics for ideas and such. It made good power, until the STOCK clutch gave way Now the owner is changing clutches to let it eat and see how much he can lay down!

The stock clutch checked OUT at exactly 474-475 rwhp a two times so we shut it down. That was on 6psi on pump gas...This thing is a BLAST on the street....Its amazing that the clutch checked out everytime like clockwork.

The turbo kit is tight, but it all fits. There isnt much room for an air filter, but this Spectre air filter barely fits and does its job. At the track we will pull the filter off.

We normally build Mustangs and drag race only cars so it was fun to do a project like this....If anyone needs any ideas let me know, happy to help.

Combo:
2004 GTO 5.7
Precision PT76 Billet Turbo
Stainless Custom Made Headers
JGS 50mm Wastegate
JGS Blowoff Valve
Stainless Downpipe and Y-Pipe
Precision Front Mount Intercooler

So you have a 2004 gto with an LS2 and an LS2 computer? That is NOT the 2004 computer.

Nice work though

Yeah the sticker on the throttle body is a dead give away. Kinda weak for a turbo GTO. I plan on nothing less than 750 rwhp on my 04.

Also, what radiator is that? I like the radiator cap instead of the expansion tank.

This thing will make 700 plus. The stock clutch slipped....hence the low hp numbers...He is putting one in it now.

And it is an 06. My typo.

Nice.
This kit is similar to mine. Just this one is a little fancier.
