Default Thoughts on a 03-06 Silverado SS. What should I look out for?

Anyone have any personal experience with these trucks? I'm thinking about getting one for a DD and to trailer my Camaro. I deff want the awd, and would like to know if there's anything I should look for as far signs of possible drive train problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I loved my 03 SSS. Transmission and front suspension are the main items to look at.

I think my buddy got his 04 about 3yrs ago for about 15k with @ 50k miles super clean from a dealership. His trans has lasted a while cam, 3200 stall, full bolt ons and a 150 shot. I think he ran somewhere in the mid to low 7s in the 1/8th spraying from a dig.

I called about the one in DFW with 36k miles and a maganacharger for 15900 but damn, that thing looks like someone went all out at VATOzone. Lol! I think some of the stuff can be replaced with stock parts but I didn't want to spend more than $13 on a 03-05 truck.

Ro, buddy of mine is selling his single cab duramax diesel. Not sure how much he's asking for it, but I'll ask if you're interested. He's also got his 408 Silverado SS for sale, but it's a racetruck, lol. He's selling the trailer too. He's getting out of the race scene I guess, duramax, SS, and trailer are for sell below.

Watch out for salvage titles. Those trucks are the most stolen wrecked and rebuilt ones out there
