Default LS7 Intake and Throttlebody on 1998 Trans Am

So ... what do I have to do (conversion kit, etc, if anything) to make a 90mm throttlebody work with the linkage on my 1998 Trans Am? Anyone know?

I have the LS7 Heads and Intake, Short LS7 Injectors, adaptors for the fuel rails, etc.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to sound dense ... I already have a cable that came with car. Do you mean a cable that comes with a Corvette 90mm Throttle Body?

And I'm not really sure what you mean by a "cable throttle".

I also dug this link up up:

The Corvettes are electronic, not cable driven.

If you get an aftermarket throttle body with cable drive, you are good.
You will need a special cable bracket for the LS7 intake as it does not have one on it.

That is actually the SLP version, I have heard bad reviews on it.

A bracket that works with the LS3 should work fine. Here is the SDPC one which I have heard good things about

Well, just got my bracket from SDPC, and does NOT fit an LS3 intake.

The bracket hits the #2 runner. Interesting since their site shows it on an LS3 intake with the intake cover on it.

Called and asked them, they said its more for catherdral port intakes such as LS2 and Fast.

Oh well, maybe I can modify it some to fit.

After a lot of aggravation trying to find one that fit, I just built my own from a piece of angle & the LS1 bracket.
