Default Holley Sanden A/C bracket

I'm looking for feedback regarding the installation, function and appearance of the new Holley A/C bracket. I've yet to see any real world pics with this installed, so any images you have would be great.

BTW - I'm referring to Holley 20-134 part number.

I plan on using that very soon. I am using the Holley ps/alt bracket kit right now and I'm very happy with it.

I've seen the pics with the GM compressor. The stand alone pics of the Sanden style bracket look good, but I would like to see how it looks once installed in comparison to the Kwik bracket.

Anyone?

They just became available so I think you are just going to have to buy one. The other brackets give a pretty good idea of how it will look. The Holley looks to be the best option out there for a factory look.

I'm probably going to get one of these, have the alt/PS bracket already. My only gripe is, I wish it didn't require an adapter plate with Corvette accessory spacing, like the alt/PS bracket. Don't understand why they didn't make it fit the Vette setup without a spacer, and then add a spacer for F body or truck apps.

Default Sanden SD7 mount.

The Holley mount looks really nice and can't beat the price. Anyone have pictures of the SD7 installed? What pulley offset does it use? Corvette?

Attached is a picture and link to one i've made. The down side is it uses the truck offset and modified F-body waterpump. The compressor tensioner setup has been installed in my 72 Malibu for a year now and has been great.

It can use any of them as you have to buy an adapter, in addition to the bracket, to get the correct spacing based on the accessory drive setup you are using. Even the Corvette setup requires and adapter which is $50.

I have mocked up an SD7 compressor in mine and it looks alot better than the larger Sandens most people run.

Hey Fox12303, I like that mount. You could probably sell them assuming those tensioner bosses last.

Rocket, appreciate it if you could post your pics once you install the bracket.

Fox - I too like your self fabricated bracket. Looks better than a lot of the "professional" aftermarket ones!

Smile Holley 20-134 AC bracket installed!

I installed the Holley bracket with a SD7 A/C compressor this weekend. The install was pretty straight forward and Holley's instructions were spot on! It was refreshing to actually have instructions that matched reality.

I still need to still need to check the clearance of the water pump boss and serpentine belt after running the motor as it is pretty close (this was mentioned in Holley's instructions). I also need to find another location to mount the the PVC catch and trim the engine cover to fit. Overall I am very happy with the quality and looks of the bracket, but I did paint it before I installed it.

The only frustration was getting the correct belt. I ended up going to Auto Zone because they were the only ones locally that could look up the belt based on length, 6PKxxxx (where xxxx is the length of belt in millimeters) versus specific application. I ended up buying four different length belts.

I have installed the Kwik and Holley A/C bracket and personally the Holley bracket is a much easier install (fewer pieces), but I doubt you could go wrong with either.

Here is a list of the parts I used, bear in mind I was using a GM 19155067 Corvette accessory drive setup. All of the part number listed, except the belt, were obtained by cross referencing the part numbers listed in Holley's instructions.. I'll post more pics once I get te PVC, CAI and engine cover installed.

The boss on the water pump directly below the throttle body may have to be ground down a bit as the clearance is pretty tight.

I agree. Thanks for the post, pictures and part numbers. I ordered my Kwik relocation bracket about 1 week before Holley anounced their bracket. I would have perfered the Holley unit.

Default Holley Acc Drive

Hey guys, I just got done installing this setup. Extremely well put together. Please excuse the mess of an engine compartment. I really hadn't planned on sharing these so I didn't really pickup. Have stuff all over the place. I highly recommend this setup. Everything went together very nicely. I polished mine and got chrome goodies to go with it. Any questions let me know.

Looks great, but you may wan to consider having the brackets powder coated with an acrylic clear powder coat to protect the brackets from the elements. I did this on a previous project ans it was well worth the money.

I recently replaced my Kwik bracket with the Holley A/C bracket. I have a Sanden 508 compressor and I'm running the stock 2001 LS1 Corvette alternator/ps bracket on the other side. The Holley documentation was great and the fitment perfect.

Here is one picture with the Kwik bracket and 2 pictures with the new Holley bracket.
