One inch does equal 25.4 mm, so 12.7mm is 1/2". The .7mm difference is correct.

IMO, measure with a set of calipers new-to-new or old-to-old.

.7mm = (0.275591)" (should have been .0275591) for us old school people. Its not much but the 1/2" studs are much stronger.

DOH! 0.027... as said above (just for clarification, not a critique). Ive seen several threads where the word "only" preceded the "0.7mm" and I just wanted to give those that dont have a feel some pics. These are not arp studs...unfortunately.

For anyone that doesnt know these fit stock wheels. I was able to get a set of black 1/2" acorn nuts and a set of black 12mm for the front. Both take a 13/16" socket and are Gorilla brand...I hope that combo is adequate for me (450whp), but I haven't hit the track yet.
