Cool 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 vs 2010 Corvette Z06 - Video Included!

Was out with some local car enthusiasts the other night and we ended up racing some pretty cool cars. The list includes:

-2013 Mustang Shelby GT500
-2010 Corvette Z06
-2010 Cadillac CTS-V
-2011 Mustang GT
-2004 Mustang Cobra
-2001 Camaro Z28

I was not the camera man for this video, merely the video producer. Video description tells a bit more about the cars, hope you enjoy the video!

I know! It was the first '13 GT500 I have seen in person, and it did not disappoint!

I should be getting more videos of these cars and more in the near future.

The GT500 has a few mods, exhaust, intake, etc, estimated to be around 700 crank HP.

The Z06 is stock.

The CTS-V is stock.

The 5.0 GT has full exhaust and intake.

The Cobra is stock.

The Z28 is stock, excluding a cat-back.

If I had a car that would be any competition for it, I would too! I talked with the owner, said he took it to the strip and was hitting 11.6 in it, spinning all the way through first gear.

Ya the one in that video would kill me, but I want to run a stock one, I think it would be a decent race

That was some of the worst abominations of runs I have ever seen. Looked like a whole video of fail.

It may be close, the thing about the gt500 that helps it a lot is the good powerband and the long gearing

I doubt that, easily over 700 with a pulley, but with just intake and exhaust its probably around 640-650 at the wheels

He said exhuast, intake, etc So I would think he has a pulley and a good tune. Should make 700whp pretty easy.

Over 700WHP?

I'm not really sure exactly what mods he has other than x-pipe, headers, and intake, I do not know if a pulley is in there or not.

They are 130mph cars without a pulley upgrade. Friend of a friend went 10.7@132 with gears, intake, and tune on 20" drag radials.

Do you ever have anything positive to say regarding a video with a mustang in it? You are by far one of the most brand loyal nuthugging ***** on this site.

Few have gone 10.8@129 now withg just tires on the 20's. They seem to do good with the driver mod.
