96-97 LT1's were bumped up to 10.5:1 compression but im not sure how. Maybe different head gasket or something along those lines(Ill have to check part numbers), but anyways, thats just the specifications in the book. Very nice to have that list on here, thanks Enisguy!

ps. I dont know if you wanted to, but you could add the Impala stats as well, ie. nodular iron crank, cast iron heads with slightly different porting, etc.

Don't forget you could get the optional exhaust on the SS to bump the power to Firehawk ratings.

90 was the first year of the LT5 (ZR1). It was 380hp I think. 91 dropped down to the 375hp rating.

the cams were different for different years. for instance an obd2 cars cam is not the same as an obd1 cars cam. just something to asterix so someone doesnt bitch about it. the power ratings were the same so its no big deal really. the vette lt1 had 4bolt mains as well. the lt5 went up in power to 405hp in 91 i believe. it started out at 385 in 89.

good list though. very well put together. thank you for doing it

Cool

Nice, I may have to print that out.

According to my Chilton's service manual, 93-95 F-Body LT1's have a 10.5:1 compression ratio though.

factory specs on the heads were changed slightly (combustion chambers had a bit more edge overlap)

Just wanted to add that the torque specs for the LT1 vette were 330 lb/ft for 92 only. The duration on the intake lobe was slightly lowered giving the 93 to 96 LT1s 340 lb/ft @3600 RPMS as opposed to 330 lb/ft @4000 RPMs for the 92s.
