So I have sort of a "noob" question in regards to the wiring for the plug n play 2 step from MSD. I want to tap in the blue wire directly to the clutch pedal switch but I am not sure where it is located? Is it up high on the firewall behind the pedal?

And I know there are supposed to be 2 wires on the switch, does anyone know which one I tap into?

Look on your pedal assembly. There will be a switch that the pedal uses when it is pushed in. You will have to get your head under the dash and probably take off the interior piece that blocks everything. Other than that, it's not too bad.

I just tapped mine into the grey wire next to the my PCM under the hood!

Which grey wire is this? Is it apart of the wiring harness?

Yeah its part of the wireing harness then enters the PCM. Search in this section or look through my post and it should get you to the right spot. No need to run any wires throught the firewall.

So I ran into an issue with the power wire last night. I first had it tapped into the green wire from the clutch sensor but that would only activate the 2step with the keys on/ignition off. As soon as I turned on the car, the 2step would turn off. So I switched to the purple with white stripe wire and the same thing... Is there another clutch switch/ set of wires I should be looking for?

From looking online people have used the purple or green wire but neither are working for me. I already have the wire through the firewall from a previous install and didnt want to tap into the pcm harness.

Any ideas?

Thats because the purple and green wires are on a 5v reference circuit and the msd 2step is looking for 12v.

I had your same issues...Then I was referred to try the grey wire on the PCM and it works perfect when the clutch is pushed in. The MSD box also does not interfer well your shifting.

I found a grey wire in the loom. Is it the only grey wire? lol. Just dont want to hook it up to the wrong one...

Use the Blue PCM # 32 Grey wire Clutch Pedal Position Switch Signal. I think you use the blue and white wire from the MSD.

Just to sum this up i found the 4 wires for the clutch sensor and the wire that is needed to tap into is the grey wire. Hooked it up and the 2 step works like a charm. Hope this helps anyone out there who doesnt know which wire to tap into. So either under the dash, or on the pcm harness, the grey wire is your friend!

What about for automatics? I've heard the best way is a brake pressure switch. Anyone know how this is done?

Think you can do the same thing as the clutch switch, but put it on the brake switch.
You'll need good brakes or you'll push through the brakes at a high RPM.

Best way to do it with an automatic without a transbrake would be to have your Brake Light switch activate the 2 step. It can also be found on your brake pedal underneath the dash.

I drilled a hole in the top left corner of my brake pedal and flush mounted a starter switch. How ever on the foot brake my car is faster without the 2 step.
