Default what is the best ls1 street cam ? not to radical

i want a good cam , not to radical but offers great torque and hp. lemme know guys

I did. I haven't installed it yet but the 112 LSA will give the cam alittle bit more agressive lope then the 114, which is what I was looking for.

I have a 231/237 112LSA and I've driven it once since I put it in. I was still in my valve spring breakin period so I kept it under 3K. It seemed pretty streetable to me.

IT all comes down to two things when having a cam that is "streetable".....

There's is a thread in here called "what makes a cam lope?" It is a good one to read to get a little crash course in what makes a cam "lope" and also why some cams are less streetable than others.....

there are two determining factors in how streetable a cam is:
1) Overlap-higher the number, more unstreetable it is
2) cam split-the more the split, the more unstreetable it is

Here's why the TR224 on a 114 LSA is such a good choice.....another would be the MTI C1 or C2 cam.......low overlap and no split....the 114 lsa does NOT indendently determine how hard a cam lopes....it is just part of the equation that determines how hard it lopes...

fm 13... nice mid sized cam that supposedly drives as good or better then smaller cams.

My vote is for a TR224 grind if you plan on keeping stock M6 3.42 gears. Going with 4.10s you can get away with a bigger cam 23*/23* duration.

Mods: Stock 241 heads, Lid, Ported TB, Smooth bellow, TR224 112LSA, Yella Terra 1.7s, Jet Hot Longtubes @ ORY, Open QTEC and Mikey's tuning..........
A power curve that will beat most of the larger cams out there until 5500 rpms which makes it the best overall street cam.

Probably, but on 114 it will for sure. Nice cam; I really enjoyed mine until it got chewed up by a sideways lifter. I like the one I have now a lot better, but it's not quite as streetable and wouldn't pass emissions in California.
