Default Idle problems

i have a 93 z28 and it seesm to be idiling funny..when i am at a stop it sounds like my car is not even on..and the RPM's are at about 400 ...but then if i turn on my eletric fans it goes higher..but the AC it goes lower...also when i am drivin and i let off the gas and start rolling to a atop it sound like teh car has shut off.....the RPM's drop really low to around 500 again....i dont know whats goign wrong ..also i shoudl add i broke my di[stick a while ago and i pput it back on but its not all the way completly on...dont think thats the problem but not really sure...any help would be really good..thaks

i have 3.23 gears, jet hot LT;s cut out no cat, moroso cai, free mods...such as eletric fans, TB Bypass no sway bar (frnt), msd 8.5 wires, drag radials

Vacuum leak can cause it, header leak before the 02's can cause it. Faulty or dirty IAC can cause it, dirty Throttle body can cause it... A few more things but thats the most common.

well i habe a stock intake elbow witha tear in it...whoudl that be the issue..also the wire for the 02 extension came out but i put it back in...and another thing could it be the coil??

Id say most likely, take your TB off, and take the coolant pasage thingy off the bottom and clean out your IAC passages
