Good choice but be prepared for a wait. There aren't a whole lot of people running the new stainless sets as there aren't a whole lot of the mout there. I've got a set on order myself - been waiting for about 7 weeks and still no word on when they will be here.

I went with the 1 3/4 race version with high velocity merge collectors and dual cutout ypipe - without the QTECs - just using regular caps.

Wow, isn't that alot of dinero for an exhaust system? I didn't pay that much, granted I didn't buy your set-up! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I bet "he's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready to drop bombs...." I would **** in my pants (drop bombs) too if I just spent $2500 on exhuast.

Jet Hot coated Hooker LT's, Jet Hot coated Hooker ORP, Loudmouth.... $950!

Granted not your set-up, but damn.. I'll take the 1-2 HP difference if it means me not having vomit on my sweater already.. or me not having to drop bombs!!

Will be nice though!!

98 LPE SS - Yes I have considered cancelling my order and going with the Kooks headers. A friend of mine has a set on order from Kooks - should be here next week - and if my QTPs haven't show up by then, and I like the way the Kooks look, which I'm sure I will as Kooks makes some nice stuff - I'll probably just go that route. The problem with Kooks at the moment is that their coater seems to take awhile - which ads 2-3 weeks wait time, so I'll have to find a local guy if I go that route. Word on my headers and ypipe is next week - but then again, I've heard that quite a few times allready.

Guys, Our coating situation just improved. We've just contracted a second coater to do our headers. Hopefully that should help expedite the orders in a more timely fashion. Terry your headers will be there next week. Nick "Kook's Headers"

Should have the QTP setup next couple of weeks. Will post results. The reason i went this route is because I dont want a loud exhaust note, but do want a getter sound (plus I didnt want to spend another 700 on exhaust). When I want the sound just hit the switch. Only time will tell.

For those of you who have been waiting for ever for your QTPs, have you ever considered canceling your order and getting some Kooks (now that they are making LS1 headers)? I am curious why or why not.
