I want to change my spark plugs on my 2002 camaro, i saw and add for e3 spark plugs. They claim to increase power and fuel efficency, is this true at all. If they dont increase power are they good spark plugs?

Ads are meant to reel you in. Just stick to what f-body owner go with. NGK seems to be the popular brand around here. I tried split fire and bouch and both caused misfire. As for e3, I don't know. I've never tried that brand

I would stick with NGK TR55's. But why don't you try them and let the rest of us know how they work.

As long as you have a stock set up, they will be good plugs. If you need a reduced gap for H/C or blower mod's., they will not. E3's are great technology. The gap is fixed & not adjustable. That's why they're only good for non-moded engines. Bolt-on's are ok. Too bad there isn't a way to change the gap on E3's, 'cuz from a design standpoint, they are the real deal.

I have exerience with the E3. That's how I came to find out (the hard way) that the gap is not adjustable. Tried them w/ the manufactured gap just to see & as predicted, the large gap on my H/C set up was a problem. The car pulled hard though, just couldn't leave them in. Am gonna put them in my Buick.

My advice is to stay away from E3's. Had a set in my 5.3 Silverado. Truck has FIPK, Borla, and tranny built. It ran great at first then fouled every plug. Replaced with factory Delco plug and all is well.

Do not waste your money!!! Others have had their LS engines foul these overpriced gimmicks.

i wouldnt put any other **** in my car for plugs besides the AC delco iridiums...its whats meant for the car...*unless your running FI or nitrous...then a tr6

Dear God man!......beware of the spark plug change!!
i just did it today. Beware of the Devil plug!....dear god...that Devil Plug!
I put NGK TR55's and MSD super conductor wires and the car is running great. No noticable difference though. It took me from 9:30am till 6:00 pm to do the whole thing!......beware of the Devil plug!!!

I saw them do a test between the E3 plugs and leading competitor (looked to be Bosch +4's) on a 383, on Horsepower TV last weekend. The E3 plugs produced 7hp and 12lbft better, and were more fuel efficient, if I remember correctly. I've thought about trying them, but they're like $5.XX a piece.

No.
The Brisks are a Czech made plug that looks like some racing plugs (silver center electrode, and three W-I-D-E way cut back ground electrodes).
Some of the boosted mod motor (latter Lightnings/'03-'04 Cobras) people have had very good luck/results from these.
Don't know how well they perform in LSxes, stock, modded, boosted or N/A??

i don't trust tv shows that push products. Especially they crap on the speed channel. There are way better products out there by other manufacturers that just refuse to pay a TV company money for them to push there product.

The thing on Horsepower TV is,you could actually see the spark was hotter and wider!Looked impressive.

Bahh... I'd just use standard plugs. These silly plugs with multiple ground electrodes will only shroud the incoming charge from the spark more. If you want them to run better index the stock plugs so the ground electrode is not in the way of the incoming charge from the intake valve as it opens.

I agree, but you do realise the effort required to index plugs on our engines while in the car?
It could add many hours to an already long process(depending on how many times you've done it before, mechanical apptitude, and whether or not you have headers or stock manifolds).
