Default Six months and she's back on the ground.

The best thing of all is it started on the first try. Got to love the LS1's with FI.

Here's what I installed:
Custom 1 7/8" to 3 1/2" Headers w/locking bolts
Rack and pinion
New Sony System with Amp
Reprogrammed PCM thanks to Scooters friend on LSTech.com
Thunder Racing MAF ends
Cleaned up some of the wiring
Extended the fuel line
Added fireproofing to wires and fuel line.

Still need to Install my:
Roller Comp Cam
1:85 Roller rockers

Still need exhaust center sections, new front tires, and an alignment before Bowling green trip.

Sorry about that. I warned you and Pat about that. The torque is a killer on these motors. You going to a 4l80 now?

Buddy,
Glad to hear that Mike hooked you up and the car is running strong. Once you get that cam in and get it tuned, you should be making some serious power.

There's nothing more satisfying than have a fresh / swapped engine fire on the first try. Okay, maybe there's a few things more satisfying, but it still feels good.
I couldn't help but notice your rack and pinion. Looks different than most. do you have a link to the manufacturer?

It's a Steeroids knock off. Couldn't afford theirs so I built one similar. It's based off a Grand am rack.

Comp Cam, Comp beehive springs, and Comp 1.85 roller rockers. Still need to pick up a set of push rods. 400 rwhp here I come.

GEN III/LS1/LS6 350 Xtreme RPM XR273HR Cam

The lift is pretty low, so I added the 1.85 roller rockers.
