Collector plates
I'd like to register my 1995 Z28 for collector plates. This car rarely sees the road as I have several other vehicles that are used for transportation. I have spent a lot of time restoring it but not in the direction of being original.
I have called the BMV in Columbus and my car isn't on the collector list; oddly enough a 1996 Z28 is. I was told that in order to apply, I need to provide pictures of the car and $5,000 in receipts for work and parts.
The car is visually exotic but I do not have anywhere near $5k in receipts, maybe $2k because the majority of the work has been done by myself.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to get my car to qualify other than buying a blower for it?
thanks

I THINK you can get an actual replacement value estimate or paper from an insurer to show value. Like they do with modified cars to cover the replacement of mods and parts. Just take it to your insurance agent and ask them about it.
