i could bust 400 easy, im sure. just cant justify spending the 900 bucks for the stainless works that fit properly.
there have been others to modify mustang headers, or 4th gen f car headers, which is a road i might look down.
im gonna stick with the manfiolds until i do heads.
this is in my IROC in case i sound off topic.

Great numbers! What carb are you using and what jetting asuming it's a holley.

I hope my '01 6.0 with the crane 228/232 .600/.600 does similar with the long tubes that I have and an 8.5" ten bolt.

its a quick fuel 750 race carb. 70/80 jets, tho it could still go more lean.
i would think your cam with headers should net you similar #'s, if not more since the rear isnt eating up as much power.
if you are running the 01 head it might hurt you a bit. i think the iron heads dont put out as much power as their aluminum counterparts.

post up with your results.
i had a friend run that cam in his Z and put down 401 with a stick and a 7.5 10 bolt.

Actually the 01s have the aluminum 317 heads and mine were milled .020.

When I get it together I'll see what I make.

i bought an 02 core from the dealer. it had iron heads. ive seen a few other 01-02 motors that had iron heads as well.
maybe they were an option in the early years. i really dont know.
i passed on another core motor at the dealer because i thought that it had iron heads(02 model as well) i should have asked before saying no.

Hmmmm. I was sure of the 99-2000 being the ones with iron heads. Anyways I have the aluminums so if I get lucky she'll make some good steam.

Please keep us updated on anymore track/dyno info...I'm watching

the car now has long tube headers, but im still running through a single in dual out dynomax muffler.

ive been as fast as 7.17 at 96.82 on motor(87 deg, muggy, humidity through the roof), and 6.67 at 103.51 on a 125 shot of nitrous.
the car loves the top end, i need to get to a 1/4 mile track in cool weather. hell i just wanna run 1/8 mile when it cools off again to see how fast it flys without this summer weather.

the intake is a unported GM with a quick fuel 750 drag carb.

thanks!
