Anything over 4.7 at WOT the PCM sees as an error, I usually stop at 4.65.

Check Installuniversity.com for a writeup.

4.83 is a very common WOT voltage for a GM TPS.

The limit=4.71, so stop at 4.68 or so. But you might not even get the pedal to open it to 4.68, mine bump stop is grinded down to 4.68 but the pedal only allows it to open to 4.58 when i mash it.

It's definatly not going to get slower.

Some people's are so shitty, that the car doesn't pick up 100% TPS and doesn't put the car in power-enrichment mode.

Not sure about the TCS but it does affect your shift points because it tells the pcm how much foot you have in the throttle (where the blade is)...which is related to your shift points....

When checking mine with EFI Lives scanner and a digital volt meter, mine is .55 at idle, 0% and only goes to 4.30 at WOT, but shows 100% on my scanner.

Right, mine read around 4.30 before the bumpstop mod, I took it to around 4.65 then stopped.

How are you guys measuring this? My car is throwing the tps code I want to know if I need anew one or if something else is wrong? Not sure about this stuff would like to learn how to check this stuff out. Do I need to hook my car up to a scanner or tunning equipment to know the voltages. And what's the bump stop mod? Grinding some off the thorottle blade stop? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Pretty sure the purple wire at the connector is the +. Then just ground the other side of your volt meter and turn your key on while activating the butterfly by hand. You will need to puncture or tap the wire bc the sensor must be plugged in to obtain the reading.
