Just wanted to know if anybody was running this filter. I ditched my k&n for the obvious reasons and I'm now running a paper filter. Problem is I have a mti clear lid and it doesn't look so great now. If anybody has one could you post a pic or at least describe it. Also how is the fitment compared to other filters.

I do not have one. However, this filter uses Donalson's nano technology.

it's the same media as their EA oil filters which they claim go for 25k miles. I might get one in the future.

I believe it is a different media from the regular EA filter.

All EaA air filters use the same media whether it is a stock replacement like the EaA83, universal cone replacement like the EaAU filters, or the EaAM motorcycle air filters. These filters can be cleaned every 25,000 miles or 1 year and do not require a cleaning kit or filter oil. To clean you can either vacuum or blow with low pressure air.

1. Vacuum Cleaning: Place the filter on a flat surface and carefully vacuum the filter media on the dirty side where the incoming airflow enters the filter. Be careful not to rub the filter pleats with the vacuum cleaner attachment too aggressively as this may damage the filter. Using a vacuum with too much suction may damage the filter.
2. Shop Air Cleaning: Hold the filter with one hand and carefully blow the filter media at a 45-degree angle on the clean side of the filter using low-pressure (15 to 20 psi) shop air. Be careful not to rub the filter pleats with the air nozzle as this may damage the filter. Using too high of air pressure will damage the filter media.

Sounds good, I probably wont be going with one though because i don't think it will look good under that clear lid, or at least the orange gasket won't. Oh well just going to have to stick with the plain white paper. The K&N looked good under there but fitment was horrible and just heard too many bad things about them. I have found its pretty hard to get a good seal on the back of the lid. Since the lid is clear its easy to check for any gaps.
