I there a 19 inch drag radial? 275-35-19 if not what would be the stickiest tires I could get?

There is only one 19" drag radial thats out its a BFG drag radial that they had a SEMA. Not sure if its available to the public yet. Next best is the BFG KDW II's. They are just an all around great tire.

The BFG KD's are much better than the KDW's but suck in the rain. A 19" Drag Radial really just defeats the purpose. You can't get traction with no sidewall. 17" are as big as you can go to get any sort of traction.

Oh really, tell that to the local viper going 1.4x 60fts on 18" drag radials. Or the mustang going 1.51 60ft on the 18 drag radials.

... how big were the tires? like sidewall? those must have been pretty big eh? is what he means if your going low profile, it just wont happen. low profile is for look, run 15s for traction with some meaty sidewalls, thats just my 0.02

WRONG....both were 26" tires so they didn't have a lot of sidewall, the viper had the 345's and 275's on the mustang. You can hook on a low profile tire unlike what some people think.

I am amazed. Either way tho, theres a reason dragsters have the setup they do and not some huge badass looking rim, more surface area on the ground is more traction, I do beleive that you can get some nuts traction without running slicks and such tho.. just not as good.

I'm with you. what's the point of drag radials on 19's?

But my 19'' wheels at the moment are 19-35-275 and if i get 17'' wheels the rear size will be 17-35-315 so isnt that same size side wall with both of them being 35??

No, it doesn't work like that. The middle number i.e. 275/40/17...that "40" is a percentage of the width of the tire, in this case "275" The bigger wheel you have, it changes. A 305/35/19 and a 315/35/17 will not be the same width or have the same size sidewall.
