Default Lug Nut Torque

Anyone know the torque amount for our lugnuts. I've found some standards on bolt sizes but wanted to know if there is a specific recommended number.

Just tighten them up like the local tire shop here in my town does... Take the most powerful 1/2" drive impact gun known to man and tighten them until it stops turning. Somewhere around 550 ft pounds and 600 ft pounds. then you can watch your front tire roll past you while you come to a grinding halt on the asphalt because all of the studs snapped off. then and only then are you sure they are tight enough!

(The names of the people involve have been changed to protect the Innocent, but this is an actual true story!)
