Yep.....lid, race style long tubes (no cats if you don't have sniffer test) and a nice catback. HP tuners to eliminate the SES light plus some performance enhancing parameters. good place to start. You can start with a lid and a catback, but you will need long tube headers to really free up some horses.

Talking

What year do you have? Is the car completely stock? I went with 1)Lid, 2) Cold Air Induction, 3) Headers, 4) TC 5) Supension items, 6)Cam-valve springs-oil pump-push rods, 7) Fuel Pump. My next mod is a set of ported Dart heads.

Good luck.
Bill

Did they try to push the price up on your car cuz the LS6 manifold?

I only ask because when i bought my 01 Trans Am, they tried to keep the price up since the car came with this and that. And INSISTED that the manifold was $500 and had to shell out money for instillation.

So i politely informed them "that your bullshit isn't gonna work on someone who already knows a little something about these cars. And if you paid to put something on that you already have, well then your stupider than you look."

Needless to say i got the car for my asking price, couldn't imagine being happier

you said u have the lid, exhaust(minus the headers). next i would get a stall and gears and a tune. m6 i would get gears and a good tune and a clutch if u plan on getting a cam. don't get a came before a clutch, it sux. a srong cheap clutch setup is ls2 flywheel and a ls7 friction disc/pressure plate. i think you can get it for under 600.00. my buddy ran that setup with a t rex cam and twisted his driveshaft in 3 places so i would say it holds up
