i have pretty much full bolt ons and make 290ish to the wheels.my buddy dynoed his 97 Z28 with an SLP catback and GM free mods and it made like 259rwhp through an a4...it only had 67k miles on it so that should be a good indicator

What you mean to say is brake horse power, (BHP), is the rating at the crank, and all years and set ups did not make the same power from what I have seen and been told. The other term you are looking for is "static coeffence drivetrain loss", means power lossed through the tranny, driveshaft and rear end. That and M6 has a smaller static coeffence drivetrain loss than an auto, mostly due to the tq converter, and the link that you gave does not say what year that and set up that rating is for, I know that they changed parts from '93-'97, and I never heard a '93-'97 F-body with a 300 BHP rating without the "Ram Air" or "SS" version, but if the vett version then maybe 300 BHP, so there is many vairabails to the rating of the LT-1 so...........

you should not be disappointed at all in fact quite a few 94s are faster than a majotiry (93-97)my buddies 94 was ALWAYS 2 tenths faster than my car we even swapped drivers...

I've had two LT1's and I dynoed both of them stock.

My Corvette (rated 300) made 235 to the wheels with an auto.

My Camaro Z28 (rated 275) made 232 to the wheels with an auto.
