Default Will LS1 F-body headers fit a '86 Chevy C10 pickup truck w/LS1?

I have a potential buyer for my Kooks headers and wants to install them in his '86 Chevy C10 pickup truck with a LS1. I was wondering if the headers will fit? Thanks

I dunno, you would have to try it. I doubt they will be a direct fit with out some surgery.

If it's anything like the issues I ran into in my '70 the driver's side header will range from 'a pain' to 'not gonna happen' thanks to the angled collector every fourthgen driver's side header seems to have. Runs into the frame.

Bah thats nothing. But when your paying a pretty penny for Kooks its a different story.

I ran hooker super comps on my chevelle and to fix that weird angle I just took some 3" exhaust pipe, cut it at an angle, cut the header collector almost back to the merge and welded it on. That way both my headers shot straight back.

Mind you I paid 200 bucks for the headers on here so it wasn't hard to cut them lol.

Heh, point taken If new tires don't get my truck into the 13's, that may be what I do next to ditch the shorties.

I used F-body headers on my 47 Chevy PU with 6.0, very good clearance. The frame measures 27" wide at the bellhousing. Hope this helps.
