Default pete jackson timing gears

does anyone have these in your cars with a cam ? how does it sound?

cant use them on computer controled cars. The computer doesnt pick up the knock sensor.

Well, more accurately, it would likely pick up false knock and retard your ignition timing, albeit you can disable the knock sensor(s). Mine is.

Nevertheless, I've only heard of two people ever using timing gears on an LT1, and they both ended up getting rid of them. They are not recommended, and most likely require some specific modifications to work (of which I'm completely unaware). I'd do yourself a favor and stick with a chain drive.
