how many quarts of oil does a v6 camaro hold after an oil and filter change?

None, you changed the oil and filter.



4.5 if i remember.

Check the manual....I thought it was 4 or 5 quarts?

i know the LT1/LS1's are 5.5 quarts so maybe 4.5-5

4.5 if you use a regular filter or 5 if you use the extended filter PF 52 if i remember correctly.

Basiclly the oil filter like from a 94 chevy v6 truck will fit, but its like 2" longer.

I thought the LS1 held 6.2 quarts...

and the 3.8 holds 4.5 I think. Just put in 4, start up the car till the oil pressure builds up then check it. And remember... When the oil is at the BOTTOM of the hash marks, it only takes one more quart.

ls1 holds 5.5

and 3.8's hold 4 depending on filter 4.5

I work in a shop and according to wrenchhead almost all the GM V6s, from the 4 whatever in the trucks to the 3.1s to the 3.4s to the 3.8s take 4.6 quarts. Put it in start the car, check the oil, and go from there.

my LS1 hold 5.5 says the parts store and its between where it needs to be

I put in a five quart bottle it filled it good i was just asking because my oil gauge is spazzing out. it'll drop pressure everynow and then. Maybe it's building pressure or something. i drove the car for awhile and let the oil completly circulate and the dip stick is showing full, but the gauge is till acting up.
