New Firebird hood design's by VFN
And I see about 6 people who agree with the 2nd generation/Heritage Shaker scoop with no arguments.
At least that is a constant.

Yep, that is a winner

My idea would be to take the stock hood and give the front small firehawk like openings that aren't quite as big and still have the honeycomb grills in them that fade directly into the stock hood w/ a shaker scoop on it. New age bandit all the way! The thing that kills the stock hood for me is the way you have the grill openings and the hood just flat lines across the top of them. The shaker scoop hood would be a bad *** design for the 98-02 cars. The Heritage desgin for the front should be a no brainer, though there is just something about that front bumper that kills it for me.

So We borrowed a pic off ls1 (1nastyz) and got to work! Since it will be a Cowl Hood it would be open at the back and would be around 3-1/2" in height (Nothing Crazy) also it will angle towards the windshield at the back.
The first design pictured retain's the look of the Ws6 but eliminates the nostrils on the Ws6 which at first glance it would appear to be a ws6 but its really a cowl.
The other design is a smooth cowl design which would actually be smoother along the edges of the scoop and hood than whats pictured, but it would take after the Whistler design on the camaro but have the v shape of the firebird. let us know what you guy's think.
