Very easy, the only thing you will need is a fuel line disconnect tool (2 sizes for lt1 5/16 and 3/8 I believe) cheap at your local APS, and a socket for the rail bolts. You need to disconnect the fuel lines (2 - inlet and return) then unbolt the fuel line from the manifold (4 bolts on top) and pull up. The injectors have rubber o-rings on the top and bottom where they seat in the manifold so becareful not to drop them or pieces of them into the manifold. The injectors come out easily as they have little clips that hold them into the fuel rail, just slide them to the side and put the new injector in. Use a little oil on the orings to help them back in. Make sure if you are going with a larger injector to get the PCM tuned as the car will not know what inj you have in there and will dump fuel if you go with a larger injector. Good luck and should take you 30 mins max.

I don't think I even had to disconnect the fuel rails. Maybe the 93s are different?

i was gonna say the same thing. i've changed them on a 93 and a 94 without disconnecting the fuel line. make sure the old o rings dont stick inside the fuel rail. BTW, 94-97 lt1's are sequential so, dont get the plug connectors mixed up. most are stamped to the cylinder.

Yup, I just found it easier to take the fuel rail to the bench and make sure they are all put in right and their is no residual orings left in the rail after I pulled the old ones. Just how I liked to do it and took maybe 2 mins longer.

I had trouble pulling my fuel rail in the past. Spray a little lube on the bottom of the injectors before you pull the rail and they will come out a lot easier.

Easy peasy. If they are original injectors they will have a slider clip thingy. So you can't really pull the injector off unless you bend and break the clip. you're just going to have to slide the injector along with the clip off the rail (towards the front of the car)

No, they come right off. Straight-edge screwdriver works wonders.
