Default 2012 IndyCar AutoCad?

Doing a project for one of my Engineering courses and I'm trying to find a 2012 indycar for autocad. Been searching around the internet and can't really find much. Don't mind buying a copy of the file if I have to, just really need to get my hands on something haha.

Let me know if you guys know of anything!

Thanks,
Ethan Hubbard

Have you checked their website? i know if you have a student email address, you can download any of their products for free (they will have the student watermark on them)

Good luck man. People who put a lot of time in those drawings don't like to give them up cheap, bc it would render their r&d useless if other teams have access. I looked into a similar project, you can try grabcad.com, but sometimes they give you pictures but not the actual files

irl is more of a spec class chassis wise than NASCAR is... =/ the chassis are all built by 1 manufacturer.

Oh ok I was unaware of that, but still they don't just hand out those cad files. If you can get measurements it shouldn't be that hard to draw up something at least close to it. Do you need it for stress analysis, aerodynamics, or what?

Well, as far as my part is concerned, I just need measurements of the cockpit area.

Depending on what you need it for, I've got a fairly basic F1 that I made up in SolidEdge for an engineering course, but it was just for our CAD course final project, no analysis of any sort, so it's not extremely detailed.

EDIT Oh, after seeing that post, never mind I guess haha
