Default Fixing cracked sleeve in LS7

Hurt the motor in the car last week. Found a bunch of water in the dry sump
Thought I might have been a head gasket. Got it apart to find the sleeve is cracked.
I know its not the best way, but I need to race it on Aug 1.
how bad will it distort in two cylinders around it? Its #4
I have a new dart ls next block combo going together but getting parts for that is starting to almost be impossible. Lol
Ls7 440inches. 870hp N/A
Thanks for the help.

Default Cracked LS7 bore

I repair these on a regular basis. Most blocks can be successfully welded, machined and new Darton dry liners installed. You would at least need to do the entire bank to fix that block. With cyl. 4 cracked, welding will distort 2 and 6 so those would also need new liners. A lot smarter to sleeve the entire block to prevent future failures.

Not going to happen by Aug. 1 I'm afraid.

I have a 427 that needs cylinder 1 sleeve fixed. Do you have a number to be reached at? Trying to get an idea on price, thinking about doing a dart block but wasn’t to happy about the extra weight
