Default swapping a 24t reluctor to a 58t on the crank

need to swap the 58t reluctor wheel off a killed crank to good crank thats a 24t now..whats involved...thanks Rob

Just buy a reluctor wheel.....They dont come off easy, and a tiny bend and youll wonder about your strange miss. The run out is like 0.008 I think.....

Fixture....and a toaster oven on broil gets it on easy.....have welding gloves

thanks, can I put a 58 on a crank that has a 24 now ?

yes, they swap both ways,

but they sell a fixture to install them. I ve dont lots of em. Hotter you get them the better....some fall all they way on and will be lose for a few minutes and movable till the cool, others.....get tapped on with the fixture, ussually fairly easy seats them all the way.

Ez, PM me. I have one I bought for a build but ended up buying a totally different short block. It's factory gm and I'll let it go cheap just to get it out.
